Made something recently and you're not sure how good it is? Ask for an honest critique here! It can be about a finished OR unfinished product!

well this is my first attempt to material mapping on 3D max. Its an accesory of an arrow on the back of an avatar, male or female. It has opacity map and you can pick texture for the arrow and the part of the back. I know its a small thing, but you dont know how proud im of it XDDD

what do you think? is a good idea?? bad idea?? no one will derive?? no one will buy it and will be buried in the endless of the endless catalog?

ps: the tinypic plugin is tha sh*t!!

That's very good work, Gaf! I see a good future for you when you keep this up.
You have more derivables and I wanted to texture that army helmet you made for us.. I will tho!
Do you have any ideas of what your next mesh will be? I suggest better shaped nails for males ;)

about the nails... havent think about that. Do you really think that males are gonna buy that product?? i mean, if it exists xD

Haha I am a Battlefield 2 player so that helmet is going to be there!
Yeah there are nails in the catalog although the thumbs are messed up.
There needs to be more curved edge on the nails tho.. will post pics later to show you.

never took the time to see that xD. In fact, my hands and feet are default but i cover them with gloves and expensive self-made shoes lol

Smart move.. there's a large community interested in male nails tho.. I for one aint that freaky but in RL we all have nails and the ones that are out there atm are weird looking.

I know it aint easy to mesh smooth round shapes but someone has to be the pioneer and I think YOU are the man for the job!! Oh and ehm.. no pressure. xD
